Yellowstone doubt for Melbourne Cup bid

A late injury scare may rule Yellowstone out of The Melbourne Cup.

trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam's stayer was cast in his stable yesterday (27/10/08)and sustained some muscle damage.

His trainer said: "Yellowstone rolled in his stable, got stuck and was thrashing about. he has picked up an injury. We are treating him the best we can and we wont know for a few days if he can run in The Melbourne Cup.

"But the race is just one week away which means we can not use medicines. Fingers crossed."
